I'm not sure what what is going on over at GrandeBass. They still don't have the colors I'm after on their website and the shelves at Academy are mostly bare. I've spoken to managers at several locations and they show me where product has been ordered for months...?

Great product and nice folks, just wish I could get my hands on the colors I'm after (mainly watermelon/chart)...

Never have had any problem getting them in either ordering or at Academy. But that is ok the less of you that have them the better for me. Sounds like a conspiracy to me here going on with competitors coming in to bash Grande Bass. Most of us can see this.

shelves at academy in lufkin are full

I support independant merchants 100% and I think GrandeBass has a couple of the best soft plastics on the market. Having said that, the lack of product supply from GrandeBass has been troubling. While there may be some product in Lufkin and Waco, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Austin Academy stores have not had of consistant supply of the popular rattlkesnake colors in at least two months. The GrandeBass website has also been out of the watermeoln/chart during this time. Jerry Shinn has always been very nice and accommodating. I just hope they can address the supply issue for next year. Great product, great company and great people. I wish them the best.

I have grande in stock, if you can't get it from them I'd be more than happy to ship to you same day.

Jerry shipped Academy 15,000 bags of rattlesnakes to Academy. He has been pleading with them to increase their orders to 30,000 bags on each order, since they sell out of the 15,000 bags as soon as they hit the shelves. The baits were in the hands of Academy. So, it is not Jerry's fault that the shelves are empty at Academy stores. Distribution just didn't ship part of their order to that store!

The colors that are still not available are also not the fault of Grandebass. We are at the mercy of the company that pours them. If a distributor orders 15,000 bags or so of a certain color, that order has to be shot before the other colors are made. Believe me,,, Jerry is trying his best to get the stock out there. This just happens to be the number one selling fishing lure in all of the Academy stores.

Order them from Cameron. He keeps a great stock in his store. Also, you can order them from Angler's Lodge Tackle store. They sell them as fast as they can get them too though.

Porters on Lake Palestine has a descent supply I believe. Froggy D's on Fork has a descent supply also. Some people just like to bash. And, both have the show the Watermelon / Char.

I had great success dropshotting the baby's this morning. I had to use the pumpkin/chart, but seemed to work well.

I'm leaving for the sand-box on Thursday, hopefully by the time I get back the supply of my beloved water/chart baby rattlesnakes will be resolved. If not, I'll check with Porter's or Cmaeron... I'll catch up with you guys later this fall.

I just came back from Fork today. If I had known I would of stopped at Froggy D's and loaded up.

the Academy in Mesquite always has the water/chart when I go in there ????? along with trophy hunter, and chart pepper....

i have never had a problem finding baby rattlesnakes.

The baby rattlesnakes are the best soft plastic that I have ever used. When I let people try them out, they just want to know where to get them... LOL
