Ok so we are getting down to the nitty gritty.
As im sure most of you know the trip is planned as follows. July 9th 8:00AM meet at dicks. here you can rent yaks and leave your vehicle.
Put in for a full day trip up the river from dicks and float back.
Then food and beverages in town to recap the days action.
here is the for sure list, if you want to go and your name isnt on here let me know, also if your name is on here and you cant make it please let me know. Derik D Trout Bum Hook line and sinker me and two of my friends that want to go.
Also as far as i know me and my friends are the only ones who need yaks, if more people came i might be able to get a cheaper rate on shuttle or yaks.
Also if you have a truck and are willing to shuttle suplies and rented yaks up to the drop point that would help lower cost's then drive back to dicks and have him run you up the put in point.
I hope to see everyone there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still hopeful that this trip will go as planned but my daughters state softball tourney might cause a conflict..

Unless that pontoon boat paddles well you will be in a world of hurt come Wednesday evening. The river typically does NOT flow enough to float downstream and if the south wind blows like it did last time you'd be better off going upstream with a sailboat!

As a matter of fact unless there is some big release you can easily put in at the dam and paddle down and back no problem. You don't need to go as far as Dick's to catch some fish either.

Hey guys, Im working all this week and all weekend and through tuesday. Just so i can go on this trip. I cant wait.
I wanted to see if there would be an interest in making this a campout? We could arrive some where tuesday evening and set up camp. Then just leave in the morning as a group.
Anyone have some info on a good campsite?

No camping for me, I have a really hard time sleeping before one of these adventures anyway.. I'm still hoping to make it but finances are getting real tight and I've got to plan for at least two trips to Segiun a week after this river trip for my daughters state little league softball tourny..

Bad news and good news about the trip.
Bad- Dicks isnt going to be open that day to rent out yaks.
Good news- Call now and have one held at the pottery shop. Cost is 32 dollars.
Bad- He wont be able to shuttle us.
Good- Ill bring my F-150 to shuttle us. Somebody will have to leave there car at dicks, so they can take me back to my truck.
The other option is to meet at riverside park at 8:00 and some one let me drop my truck at dicks, then give me a ride back for the start of the trip.
What do you guys think is this doable. Me and DerikD are ridding together so he wont be able to be the car.
