I recently purchased an older Shimano Bantam 100SG. It is in beautiful condition and works like a charm, especially after I cleaned it. Problem is, I have a left over copper disc about 1/8" in diameter and I'm not sure where it goes. If anyone has the schematics for this model I'd really appreciate it. This is one of the old silver models.

I THINK it goes under the knob where you adjust your spool tension. If it's much smaller in diameter, it might go under the line guide pin (pawl)inside the cap that is threaded.
Here's one of a 100XSG:

Thanx Putter, are there supposed to be 2 different items under the spool tension knob, 'cause I already have the little brass semi square piece and it appears to be working fine.

Mated this thing up with a medium action rod this morning and tried casting it without the 2 little cast control weights installed. While I had amazing distance I was backlashing every cast. Reinstalled the 2 control weights and lawd, what a difference! All this with a 1/8 oz jig. Even my souped up newer Curados won't outcast this thing, SWEET! Thanks for all the help guys. If you have a chance to pick up one of these old shimano Bantam 100SG reels and it's in reasonably good shape, you won't be sorry. They are easy to work on and are an awesome reel!

The schematic just shows the one square one with the rounded corners under the spool tension knob... so, no, probably this isn't where it goes, I guess.

Would it fit inside the nut/cap that holds the line guide pin (pawl) in? If so, there should be a 'washer' of some sort in there to allow the line guide pin to slightly turn as it follows the grooves in the level wind gear. The pawl shouldn't turn on the cap itself; might cause some problems if it is like that, I would think.
