Does anyone know of any lakes that will be having a fireworks display. I found out the Arlington lake will be having one on the 3rd of July, but I have to work that night. Thanks

eagle mountain, fort worth boat club puts on a good show. try and be close to your ramp afterwards, because it is pretty scary out there afterwards. i will be at the ramp watching the boat loading show.

Where ever I end up going to I plan on staying in my boat all night and go do me some night fishing afterwards. Find me a good place to fish at during the day and then use my track back feature on my GPS to get me back there at night time.

heres one on the 28th in Rowlette. Kevin Fowler is a pretty good country singer if ya like that kinda stuff. http://www.pegasusnews.com/events/2008/jun/28/100745/you could actually motor up that end of the lake through the trees and set out some lines for cats while watching the fireworks I have seen/scared some huge cats up there in that end.

Every year they have a fireworks display on the Llano River where it empties into Lake LBJ, in Kingsland. People gather on the bridge which spans the river and they shoot the fireworks out over the water. There are literally hundreds of boats anchored out in the water, watching. It's an awesome display.

A little clarification on my post. The way I worded it, it sounds like the people on the bridge are shooting fireworks out over the water. That's not the case. They're just watching. They set up the fireworks off to the side of the bridge and shoot the fireworks out over the water.

Bridgeport always has a really nice show. Long bridge and every one in boats usually anchors up in the general area.

Wish I would have read this earlier. Joe Pool has one at Lynn Creek Marina. We decided to try and watch it from Lloyd Park to avoid the traffic. If you can endure the swearing drunks, it's not too bad I guess. I had my 7 year old with me and was getting a little peeved. A boat would have made it really nice.
