WOW! That is an amazing resource!!! Thanks for posting that. There are a large number of ponds and lakes there that I simply didn't know existed. I also note that some of those lakes may be extremely private. I'd be curious to know how the list was compiled.

Make that 6792. The old topo map has Wahoo Lake, but there is a soccer field there now.

Thanks for posting this horns. Looks like there are a few I need to ck out here in Mesquite. What spots do you hit there horns?

And a lot of the ones around Amarillo are dried up or on an electric companies fenced-in property.

4 or so i have tried. the ones everyone has heard of . need to check out a few more that i didnt know were there. samuel farms is not on there though. just dont climb over barb wire at some of these holes.if u see one dried up, you can always practice lol

I notice some of these are completely on someones property. I drive by "Soil Conservation Reservoir 12" in Rowlett every day. I've often thought about knocking on their front door and asking if I could fish it. It's completely fenced in, does this really fall under public water?
