This coming weekend im fishing the outboard fishing tournament out of port a. This is my first year to fish this tournament and was wondering if any one has fished it in the past

I have fished it the last 6 years and enjoyed it very much. The firemen are great and the food is good, the gumbo Friday night is great! You should have fun if the weather improves!!!!!

I don't think there is a calcutta but the trophies are nice. I would guess there are at least 250-300 people fishing it, maybe more. It is very relaxed and fun, a different crowed then the Deep Sea Round Up.

Thats not to bad i fished a tournament weekend before last and there was over 600 guys in that one

I could be wrong on that number. If the seas don't improve the numbers could be low. Right now it looks to be to rough for smaller boats.
