Anyone have any experience with the MK Terrova or Powerdrive V2 with Auto Pilot? I am looking to updrade my TM and have been looking at either of the Minn Kotas, or the Motor Guide wireless series.

Obviously the MK with Autopilot provides a serious price difference from the Motorguide....so I am curious if someone has the Minn Kota and can chime in on it's worthiness; or gimickiness? Alternatively, if you have the Motor Guide wireless, I would like to hear about the pro's and cons of it as well.

Thanks for your help,

W

I only know of two guys who did that MK and both traded them off.

I just bought the minnkota wireless and I love it even though I have'nt used it a lot. Proline220 used it the most and he loved it also, but I will let him chime in if he reads it.

Using the wireless motor driven steering is OK for Open water but the steering reaction lag is a problem if you fish Creeks with lots of stumps or Timbered coves.

The cable steering is less likely to have a problem.. the more complicated a device is the bigger the margin for error becomes.. just my 2 cents.
