To me it's the confidence in color, size of the lure more than who makes it, and the skill of the angler using it. I've caught just as many with no name hand pours or cheaper knock-offs as with Senkos or Tiki sticks. As with other baits, Cranks, jigs, spinnerbaits etc..they are tools.

I like the look and action of the senko, the durability of the tiki, the colors of the tiki, the price of the tikik, and I have more confidence in the tiki. My vote is for wave worm

Yum Dingers and Senkos seem to be more durable than the Grande Bass Rattlesnake. I like the action of the Rattlesnake better than the forementioned, but they tend to pull in half on short strikers and only good for one or two hooksets. Confidence,Cash and Location are the to main variables to contend with.

Of course I am a little biased, since I do work at GYCB, and that is the order I prefer. If you like the 901 Watermelon/Cream laminate Senko, you will love the new special pour I just had done. It is 937 Watermelon w/hologram flake and Cream w/minimal black flake laminate. Only available at the Mineola store. As far as the Molopolo and salt with the Tiki's, it is not infused with any scent, nor is it impregnated with salt, just sprayed Anise Oil and poured on salt, then mixed all around on a big table, I still use them tho, they work sometimes when the others won't, and vice versa.

Senko's, Gary Yamamota made a deal with the Devil when he created YamaSenko's and the fishing world is better for it! None of the knockoffs cast like a senko, fall, wiggle or shimmee like a senko or catch fish when nothing else will like a SENKO. Senko's catch HAWGS, I caught a 8lb10oz beauty in February with a Senko. JMTC

If your rigging them texas style with any type weight, it doesnt really matter, But if your fishing them weightless or wacky weightless, the senko has better action [ shimmi ] the softness is what gives this better action. Also why they're not as durable. So in pre spawn cold water I'll stick with the senko ! Try them in a swimming pool, you can see the difference in the action.

Yes they are my sponsor, but tiki sticks are more durable. i won a tournament on fork with one tiki-stick. Gary Yamamoto makes a GREAT lure but i dont see the merit in spending 7 bucks on baits that are saturated in scent when you can do that your self. Also they break sometimes with out even a fish hitting it. So pick what you want, but my personal oponion is that you cant beat a TIKI-Stick covered in scent.

I think that the Tiki Stick is much better, the price is certainly right, and they're easier to find. Not a lot of places carry Senkos but you can find Tiki Sticks just about anywhere, I got mine at the big Wal-Mart for $2.99 for a 10 count bag. So Tiki all the way.

I like the Tiki. From the selection of colors I've seen, Tiki wins out. Green-pumpkin with the chartreuse tip = deadly in any pond

I'm just curious......(playing devil's advocate here) ......how many guys have a solid firm opinion, without really trying anything else, or knowing the other side of things?

that being said ; its been about 6 years since i've used a yamasenko, so my opinion (like others) really isn't too valid.

(scientifically speaking) wink

Tiki, all the way, hard to beat them on Fork for sure. Can't see spending the money on Senko's. Those Tiki dudes are awesome too. Needed some at the last Skeeter Tourney, they hooked me up the best the could and right away.
