I have heard that if you get canned dog food and poke holes in them and sink them by a tree would help. I have never tried this, but heard it from an older gentleman that had done this.
Thanks for the idea.Might have to try it.I havnt done any fishing at limestone lately, but i did catch a few crappie yesterday evening, caught a few off the bridge but it wasn't much.
I've heard of gettin a five gallon bucket and adding just enough concrete to make it sink, fill the bucket with dog food and drills holes just big enough to keep the food in. When it become moist enough the fish learn to tap the bucket with their nose. Tie a rope and buoy too it and fill it every time you fish that spot ive got two spot we do this to and it works pretty darn GOOD!!
I've heard that attaching your old scratch off lottery tickets to your brush piles work good. The crappie are really drawn to them and what better a way of recycling them.
I have never had any trash fish come to my baited condos but again I dont drown minnows I use jigs and have not problems.I think I will try the lotto tickets ha
