Not much action on LL this morning. A few boats at deadmans till around noon and then everybody pretty much disappeared. I think all the crazies were still hung over from the night before so not much to complain about today.

All the fish caught today were off the bottom with the occasional twitch of a mouse. Just pick it up a little and let it fall back down. Fishing the bottom seems to produce the best size.

I fished from 7:15 to 10am this morning and didn't get bit. Tried a great hump by the dam, made a few passes at the gravel pits, and then at Deadmans. Didn't see a bird or a top water school one. First time in a long time I couldn' pick up a few. My kids joined me at 10:30 for tubing and lunch so overall it was a great day.

Good to hear the crazies atayed at home for a while to sober up a bit. Were have the birds been this year? Hardly seen any this year. Brian send me your cell # with a PM and I'll get you back your marker. Seems like we are both on the water more often this year.

Had the same luck, fish showing up on the fish finder but no takers, tried everything except live bait. We fished from 7.00am to 1.00pm, had my wife, daughter and her soldier husband with us, he had a great time. He told me about a video he saw when he was in Iraq, it was called fishing iraqi style, it showed 2 guys firing an RFG into a lake and waiting for the fish to come to the surface, suppose it saves lures.

We ended up with 1 catfish and 6 good size Sandbass, all caught deep, we kept them in the live well and gave my daughter the choice what to do with them, they are all swimming in Lake Lewisville today. Everyone last night wanted to fish this morning, but I think the sun got the best of them and a night at the comedy club did it, we all slept in.
