Took another work colleague out to EM. I started at dawn (6:30). First thing was an attempt to chase down some shad. Went to the jetty NW of the island and threw my net there but with no outcome. Next, while waiting for my colleague to arrived, I checked out the Twin Points humps but nothing there either. When my colleague arrived at 9:00am, we trolled south of the island using slabs and were rewarded pretty quickly with about 6 sandies in the space of an hour. After that, they seemed to dry up. My colleague caught a small white drum. I seem to be seeing more of those than before.

We switched to catfishing and tried a whole bunch of different spots but with zero luck at all. After about 3 hours of catfishing, we called it a day with no catfish landed and possibly only a half dozen useful bites.

The wind was up today (from the South) causing a moderate chop on the main water.
