Said she did not have a life jacket on. Sad day, prayers to the family.

Sad fact is we all know every holiday weekend there are going to be a few accidents on the lakes. Must be horrible for the families involved but even worse in the cases where it could have been avoided with a $20 life jacket.

Oh guys by the way all my kids think you have to be 21 to not wear a vest. So sshhhh

great idea, I use to let my girls swim with there life jackets off, not any more, they have some form of floatation with them at all time in the water. Clete

On the news tonight they said there were four drownings this weekend, Grapevine, Ray Hubbard, Lewisville and Joe Pool. This is a tough weekend for a lot of folks. My condolance to all.

Well now they are saying 4 drowned at Lewisville, 2 at the same time. Plus the 3 from the other lakes and one more from Ray Bob... For a total of 8 in North Texas.

Not good at all. Very sad inded.

Lots of rescue vehicles at LAke Park this evening. Guy at the gate said there was a drowning..

I just watched this and it is very sad. I'm very sorry. I was on Lewisville Lake today. prayers sent to everyone involved
