I fish a small pond about 10ft. deep at the most. It is full of weeds and is almost impossible to fish. What are some reccommendations for catching Crappie in a pond like that?

I have tried that when fishing for Bass, did not catch a thing. The fish don't attack minnows at all.

Maybe a small bass assassin rigged weedless. That would get you bass and maybe crappie.

I have been able to get Bass of a PowerBait Crawfish- Blue/MetallicBlue. I can get the catfish in the pond with dough bait, chicken hearts/livers, and nightcrawlers. i cought the Crappie on the Crawfish. I have not been able to catch Crappie for at least 5 weeks. The Crawfish doesn't work anymore.

If the weeds aren't all the way to the top try a road runner. Just keep it moving fast above the weeds. I can't imagine they won't get a minner???

If you can reach the edge of the weeds with a long rod try dipping a jig in the holes around the edge of the weeds, maybe the crappie are at the edge in the shade looking for any food that goes by. Hope this helps some, good luck!
