I am going to Amistad in the next few days. I have never been there and was wondering where to stay, launch, fish, etc. I will be by myself and looking for a peaceful couple of days of fishing. Thanks in advance

Hey Josh, first of all welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy this site and learn as much as I have. As far as your trip, please feel free to call me on my cell and I can answer all your questions and make this trip as easy as possible. Even if you don't book I can still help on some patterns and a few areas to help get you started. I look forward to hearing from you. Also feel free to stop by the Anglers Lodge Tackle shop and talk to me or Carl.

Respectfully,

Jc Gwynne

Josh - Welcome to the forum!
I recommend you call Anglers Lodge for a really nice place to stay while down there.
If you are there this weekend, look for a Kenner 19VX and say hello, we'll be down Friday thru Sunday.

Would recommend staying at Anglers lodge. Also, check out the tackle shop while you are there. Lots of hard to find baits and great prices.

Post on a few baits that have been working...
