Anyone have any fishing reports or know how the fishing is in late July for these areas. Thinking about going down there in a couple of weeks.

Late july and august is usualy when i have my best luck..I am down there every weekend from june until september but usual about mid july you start to get a break from the wind and that makes it alot easier to fish...but fishing has been excelent this year..alot of big trout have been caught.

Thanks, I think I will go ahead and head down there in a week or so. I usually have some luck at Ingleside by the Navy base.

Yeah this is a great time of year for croaker fishing. Seems like you gotta find the cooler/deeper water though. We fished 4 times the past week and the fishing was awful, but so was the weather.
