The champ has two storage box,s on the outer side of the two livewell hatches.

question ..there are drains in these boxes, and running water through them ( cleaning boat ) I do not see where the water is coming out ..!!!("
please tell me it is not going into the flotation foam ..

On the 181 I had they drained into the hull sump. If you have the plug out you should be able to see that the water eventually comes out.

On board coolers. My Champion has 1 in the back and one in the front middle. I keep them plugged and use them as dry storage instead of coolers as I don't drink and fish.

I drink and fish
I usually drink at least one , sometime two qts. of ice water
this time of year

checked again , and they do drain into the bilge ..
however not all of the water drains out ..still some in the drain..must have some sort of (duckbill) flapper in the drain .
problem solved.
