Also good to hear from GT that the bait is still there. Had a guy tell me this week he threw up there for an hour and caught a dozen. He didn't say if he was throwin circles or not though.

Just woke up after another annual Wood 4th of July party. We live in the sticks kinda so every one comes out here because it legal to shoot fire works. Every one brings about a $150 worth so its starts at dark and goes on forever. You can't fathom how much trash fire works leave in the yard.I cooked a brisket, chicken wings, pork ribs,sausage, and hot links.

I was the ref for the 1st annual 4th of July Washer Tournament so I got to watch the fireworks this year instead of shooting them. It takes alot of blue cans for a washer tournament.The blue can factory may need another shift to catch up.
I have to get this mess cleaned up because I am off to Texoma for some prefishing on Sunday.Enjoy the rest of the fourth everyone.

well BB just got off the water. pulled a 13" crappie, 2 small 3lb blues and a 3lb channel. lost about a 45-50lb yella at the boat again. it was too big to fit in the net so uncle put on the gloves and tried to lip the fish she was not hooked good and when he got his hand in her mouth she bit down and floped the hook came loose and she was gone. we are not quittin till we get one of em. we are goin back in the mornin.

Have you used those lines I gave you? or are they any good?

yea TB on big yellas sometimes you cant find a big enough net. but they do have one at Academy that i think we are going to get that will handle a 50-60lb fish easily. i have not used the lines yet but we unrolled one to see what they were like and i think they will work great. Thanks

Sounds like everyone had a good time yesterday. I cooked up some of John’s Hawaiian chicken for the neighborhood party yesterday. It was really good. Everyone loves that stuff.

Hey Sallysue, heard they had to close TLP yesterday because there were too many cars blocking the road and emergency vehicles could not get in. Was it that busy over there?

The wind got up for a short while yesterday evening . There's been a couple of boats there all night fishing.

mornin folks, good luck to those going out today..I'm going to recover from our trial run camping trip in the back yard..it was a great success, little man and sissy had a blast. (so did Daddy)
