Ok, hearing rumors from several different folks around the Lake Ivey area that Amistad is being pulled down so work can be done on the dam. Anyone heard anything "official" about this? I know the lake is already down quite a bit but sure would hate to think of it being pulled down more.
I remember the fishing in the late 90s when it was 70 feet down--it was awesome! There's a lot of acres out there. Those pigs people are catching were fingerlings when the water was way down.

Answer to your question is no. Water is only down 10 ft. from what it was this spring. Is slowly rising again. Nothing more than a rumor.
