I have a minn kota 80# trolling motor w/ lift assist and I have it mounted to a 18.5 ft procraft. The problem that I am having is that it does not seem to move it very fast. I mean it moves it pretty good but other guys with bigger boats and the same size motor go faster. Maybe I am just a fat A@*!!! LOL! Would my batteries have something to do with it? I am running dual everstarts.

Well you may be a fat @rse but join the crowd. You may have a battery problem 'cus that motor will yank around any boat.

What kind of motor was on it before? Was it a 12-24 or a straight 24?
