May have to give them up now that TB is wearing them. TB, you should bought 'em in black. That's the color for crappie fishing. fish flag

What's up folks, just dropping in to say I am still alive. Last week only caught little ones but I'm thinking about heading out this weekend. I sure do miss the Texas fishing but I'll get by. Been traveling alot lately but it should slow down soon, just about the time it starts to get cold again. LOL, which won't be long. Anyway, tight lines and catch one for me. Take Care, FT

Nite report. Hope I kept the boss happy. Started at 9:00. Had 15 hybrids by 10:00. All around 15"....still fun. Then nothing till 10:45 and landed a few more and the first keeper. Things slowed down. We caught 30 by this time. Left and went and tried another spot. Nothing. Went back and talked to friends who said as soon as we left they caught 14 keepers so we anchored up again. Couldn't keep bait down long enough to drink a cold one. Ended up with around 50, but only a few keepers. Here is a pic....hope it works as I am a rookie picture man... frown...
Forgot the camera, was gonna take some action shots......
Happy 4th to everyone.

Didn't catch much. Spent a lotta time at the boat shed workin' on Clyde. Greased up his steerin' linkage and fixed a buncha leakin' rivets an' some other little stuff. He don't know how good he's got it...I feed 'im, clean 'im up, fix 'im, drive 'im around an' take 'im fishin'.

I used this blue plastic stick stuff I got at Cabela's. Worked really good. You heat up the rivet with a torch and touch this stick a stuff to it and it sucks in and around the rivet head. Like magic! It dries hard when it is cooled off but is flexible. Took a long time to do so didn't git on the lake till late. Found plenty of shad at the usual place. Wierd, I didn't lose one of 30 shad and I didn't use any of that shad keeper stuff for the first time. Used nothin' but salt, aeration and filter. Anyway caught four whites and a LM. Had to get home early so couldn't stay for late evenin' bite. frown Day fishin' is tuff an' borin'. Caught them whites jetpettin'. Gotta get Clyde an' me ready for nite fishin. Need to install a pad or something for my head when it falls over asleep. grin

Happy 4th of July! flag breakdance

Howdy all. I have not been on in a while. Busy working and fishing. I finally purchased one of those expensive shad buckets and aerators in order to try to keep them alive a little longer so I can catch a few more fish later in the day.

I'll be on the water on Monday or Tuesday so watch out for a little yellow kayak late in the evening. Still working on the bicycle flag and some lights.
