Hard to say because I generally catch blues bigger that channels.
(not that I have had any luck on blues with rod an reel this year)

The blue / channel hybrids fight very hard pound for pound for what it is worth.

I think Flatheads stomp all others and taste pretty good too. And it is true that larger blues are much easier to get than channel cats over 8 pounds or so.
