Just put 35# Gorilla braid on my Ambassador 6000. I tied some 20# mono on for a leader with some difficulty. Different diameters, different texture, different stiffness. I used a slipper knot I found in my outdoors book but it is very difficult to tie.
Does anyone use leaders with braid for catfish? I am going to use a leader cause that braid costs too dang much to be cutting off)
I will probably end up using a snap swivel or three way on the end of the braid.
How do you attach leaders to braid?

I think the uni-knot might work. Here's some websites about different knots. Hope it helps thumb. Personally I'm knot challanged. blush

What may work for you is tie a swivel on the end of your braid using a polymer knot then tie your 20# mono leader on the swivel using the same type of knot. I have rigged a couple of my R&R that way using the polymer knot and it worked just fine for me.
