Fished from 5:30 to 8:45 last night. Couldn't catch a cold. I would go somewhere else besides LL. There aren't any fish in this lake anymore.

What a show. I stopped there about 14:00 and got too hot so I went to a shade and caught 10 dink bass until about 16:00. When I got back it was crazy, we all seemed to show up at the same time like it was planned. Ryno yelled out to identify all the TTF'ers and we all raised our hands. I think it was about 12 boats like we were at the bubbles at the Vine. I managed 2 good sandies and this thang. I'm going back to the vine. Where have all the big schools gone this year?

Too many boat or at least boat motors probably. Thats why I dont care to fish around them.

It's a little late to get back to this thread but I just don't get on the computer much through the weekend. Why? Because I'm out fishing!

Here is my report for the 3rd:
Ate dinner at Petes. Everything looked good there. Around 6 p.m. decided to leave Petes and head out on the water. We went over to deadmans for our 1st stop. Lots of boats sitting tight together there. I made one short drift through the area with no takers and then decided to go look elsewhere where there were fewer boats.

Lite-liner I think I saw you there? I also heard somebody calling out how they caught one with the mouse.

After deadmans, went out to the gravel pits where I anchored down on top of a hump and caught a good mix of sandies and hybrids. Brought home 36 sandies, 4 hybrids and a channel cat. All but one fish were caught on live shad. When I pulled up to this hump I droped a 3/4 oz slab to check out the area before I threw out the anchor. My slab was down for about 20 sec before a nice hybrid latched on.

It was a really nice evening on the lake. Anchored down in the middle of the lake with no other boats around.

Sorry, I don't have any pics to share. The guy who I took fishing doesn't go fishing much so I was playing guide the entire time with unhooking the fish and baiting up the next rod.
