I am gonna fish fish some new swims this weekend that don't have any boat traffic, like the trinity in downtown fw. Also plan on swimming since I just fixed a few cracks in my pool. If anyone wants to come swim, and is at least as fat as me they are welcome

I got bit by the Emma Long bug last week so I am headed that way again here in a bit.

I am actually staying on a house on the lake and fishing off a private dock. Really nice deal that I came upon by happenstance via an old friend. The guy has a Moultire feeder that scatters game pellets once a day.

I was planning on going out to GV lake this morning...got everything ready the night before and set my alarm for 5...problem is I set it for PM...I ended up sleeping til 8:00am, so no go.

I think I'll just try again tomorrow morning.

I'm hoping GV lake wont be too busy during early morning hours.

I fished Syndicate for aout four hours yesterday morning.
I caught one about 3 lbs lost another larger stronger one.
Had several bites. Mostly just chilled in the shade.

we fish a swim today that supossed to have carp in it but it was a blank fest im kinda dissapointed in it cause it was a 3 hour drive

yep, suckfest . On a side note I just sold my mustang so am looking to expand my tackle just a bit

Went fishing from 7 to 11am @ GV lake yesterday...only caught 1 tiny channel cat.

This TX summer time heat is getting brutal, especially when the sun is in directly front of you bouncing off the water.

I think I need to find some new swims with shade.

i went to my slip on hubbord with bubba and got 40 cat fish but whos counting lol and 3 buffs the biggest 25.5 lbs 2nd 21.0 lbs 3rd was 17.0 and 2 low teen carps it was a good day and all were caught on sweet corn

no, not this time around. I am still happy with my rods but I decided I need a brolly big time after all the sun we got there @ Chicago

Doubt I will be able to cuz I have a party to go to sat nite and going to Austin next weekend so I need to stay home with the wife and be a good boy.
