Got a call from Varner while I was at work and he said we were going to join Superduck and Big Fish Cliff for an afternoon of Ray Hubbard fishing Met up with Duck and Big Fish at Duck's slip and after a little bsing and rod prep off we went. The first spot we hit yielded the first fish and my personal best, a 27", fat hybrid caught on a 2 oz Gold Holographic/Red Head TNT 180 (my fav lure) We didn't have a scale so the weight is a guess but we all agreed that it is close to 9 lbs. I'm telling everyone it's 10 lbs, though, because after all, I am a fisherman After that we did some checking and found a few here and there, until we came across a huge school of sandies at RP. There was also a Yellow Tahoe sighting Thanks Duck for the ride and for the lime beer I enjoyed fishing with you, Varner and Cliffy, we need to do that again.

Yep Yep Yep! Sorry the pics took so long! That Beast is a 10 lb'er. That fish crushed the PURPLE BUZZBAIT! I think is was the pink trailer that made the difference Had a good time! Hope you & JV got those flys out of your scalps! Can you start using a bigger topwater plug?

Something like 20lb. It use to a much better hybrid and striper lake in the 80's.

I witnessed that Beauty of a Catch!And it was a fun fight for JVNitro, we thought it might be a catfish at first because it was tail wrapped for a few seconds and then when it got straight it was drag stripping fun time to watch. Good Job Nitro!

We were down south closer to the damn. I caught this hog on my favorite lure a 2 oz Gold Holographic/ Red Head TNT180, with one of the hooks clipped and the barbs pinched down. This slab is a hybrid catching machine

I told him, after he let it go we should have taken a picture with the 180 in it's mouth That thing was a hog but, since I am a fisherman... i tied the lure on so it is also my catch
