Don't panic bass fishermen, here's the story.

On the Louisiana side of the Pendelton Bridge is a series of night lights courtesy of the Toledo Bend Lake Association and the SRA. They are usually on every night of the year and make a great place to catch white bass and crappie at night. And no, I don't catch LMB's here.

Since I have two grandsons coming for a couple of weeks next week and recoginzing that some of their most memorable moments are catching whites from under these light, I decided to "test the water" early this morning to see if the fish were present.

Low and behold, I run across the lake and find no lights.

This afternoon I stop by the SRA office on the Louisiana side of the bridge and talk to a nice elderly lady at the front desk. Ask her why the lights were not on and she gives me this "OH I'M NOT GETTING INVOLVED IN THIS DISCUSSION" look. She motions for a more senior lady to come bail her out and the serior lady explains the situation to me.

Seems there is an mean very boistrous 80 year old woman living in a house very close to the lights and she has complained that the light not only keep her up at night but that they are destroying her sex life. Consequently someone at SRA decided to accomadate her by turning the lights off.

One phone call to the head guy and we were assured the the light would be on and that the 80 year old would be asked to find another solution to her problem.

Ha wish i could find a woman willing when im 80 years old.

How do you know the guy is 80 years old. She could be a cougar, LOL.

To all others making light of a 80 yearold and their sex life. Being in that age Bracket I ask that you not take be so critical as you will be there someday and be pleasantly surprized
