Mike, what do they have at Lantana? Can you dock there and get burgers or something to go?
Thanks for the report and sorry for the hijack.

Thanks for the report, Rudy. Always good info. Do you fish a trick worm with a spinning rig or baitcaster? Never have tried that kind of bait yet.

Hey tiogatex ! I allways use a baitcaster, I hate Spinning rigs but that a matter of prefer. This my Fav Set up-- 1/4 oz mojo weight pigged 3 ft obove 3.0 Owner Riggin Hook Cherry seed Trick worm. Pull at 1 ft at a time , let set, Jiggle in place, pull anouther FT . Rocks are holding some good fish right now. Kentucky bass will Clobber it ! Try your fav colors seems to change with water clearity. Shallow early, back off to 8 to 10ft brake line by 10 am. Good Casting !

If you find the grass, 1 oz single willow. Let it bog up in the grass , then rip it out, let it settle down and bog up again Rip it out !. Big Momma will Nail it. Love it !

Thanks Rudy. I'm gonna give it a try. I appreciate the tip and explanation of the technique. Here lately I've been wearing out the baby brush hog, texas rigged, it's been producing every time out so it's hard to put it down. By the way, do you rig the trick worm the same as you would if you were texas riggin?

Tiogatex ! Yes I Texas rig the worm and peg the cylindracal Mojo weight with rubber bands about 3 foot above the worm and hook. Hey try it with your baby brush hog or other soft plastics you may be surprised. It's like a mini-Carolina rigg for shallow water. Good casting, RUDY
