All on topwater and swimbaits. Pencil Popper, Amazon, and a 3:16 Rising Son. Fished from 7am until 11:30 a.m. with my friend from San Antonio who came for a visit. Have pics coming as Dianne is downloading from the camera. I still can't believe it. Have weights as follows.
12.80 lbs.; 11.60 lbs.; 11.20 lbs.; 8.90 lbs.; 3.00 lbs. .

Only one we didn't take a pic of was the 3. Was our first fish and didn't think it was necessary. Then all h@ll broke loose. Will post them asap.

I can assure you "The Bridge" was done that way on purpose. LMAO. You guys are way too good at remembering things. Just thought I would mention *it*. Trust me we tried. Only other fish I could get was a 3 lb. needlenose gar and a bunch of little bass following the swimbait. About 11am is when everything including baitfish activity ceased like somebody turning off a light switch.

I have had the privledge to catch two double digits in one day but never 3. you and your buddy will remember this day for a long time, and thanks for the pics. now I won't have to worry about you and charles going in there for the next tournament, I am pretty certain it will be burned or too crowded for a long while lol.

Well JC I can tell you this much if you want to go over there go ahead. you are one of the best guides on Amistad and you know as well as I do that that side of the bridge has been beat to death the last 2 years. That is not where Carl and I have been catching all our fish and that is not where he caught those. I will tell you that the spot is on the other side of the bridge
how far well I cant say, you and the rest of the fishermen reading will have to do a little searching. I can be bribed but I am not cheap.

Well my my guess is that those fish were caught near the,
"naked cove"! A very long way from the location in the photo.
Despite pressure, Amistad has VERY LARGE BASS! You just need
locate them, then outsmart them! What say you Carl?

Carl is not allowed in the naked cove, Lane There was a petition. I know thats right Charles you pretty much have needed a reservation to get inside the 277 bridge it has been so crowded. Well figures, It should have known you and Carl have never liked fishing in a crowd! But you better be careful, Charles he may replace you with that young phenom he took out there.LOL
