Has anyone ever had trouble with the trailer light wiring on the hitch of their truck? I have blinkers/flashers and brake lights on my trailer but I can't get my running lights to work on the trailer. It isn't the trailer because I had the same problem pulling a different trailer...

check the under hood fuse block for the fuses for the parking lamps for the trailer,the trailers are all fused now on gm vehicles and the fords also.

The fuse marked "TRL Park" was burnt so I replaced it and now I have to hook onto my boat and see what happens...

no problem,you might keep an extra fuse are two just in case it blows after you put the boat in the water the next time,you might have a light that is getting some moisture in it causing it to blow the fuse.

I just had the same problem this morning. I start checking wires and such. Then hook up boat to wife suburban, eliminate trailer as the problem. I start looking at fuses and check all the fuses except trailer park fuse. Just didn't see it. Look on the forum and abracadabra theres the answer. Check again there is the fuse and its blown. Thanks guys.
