That had to be a heck of a time. I need to bust the fly rod out and do a little fishing. Its been years since I did anything with it.

I'm jealous, it's been years since I've been able to use my flyrod for bass and, that is one nice one for the task!

what lake? its more than likely a record for fly fishing. Lone Star lake, yea the record is 1.33, I've caught quite few up to 5 lbs this year, the fish in this pic just had some real pretty color imo...btw the rod (st croix reign 8wt) came from Gander in Tyler
