We had twelve brave and daring boats who managed to fish in the wind on Saturday.
20 MPH wind my behind! Thank you all for coming out. I finally got to fish a Saturday Tournament! Thank you Dave Budny and Scooby. Sorry that I was to busy untangling backlash or hung up to contribute anymore.
We weigh-in in kilograms to avoid ties. But it did not wok today. We had a three-way tie for Big Bass. Chad Null, John Scoggan/Everett Reynolds and Russell Mitchell/Robert Burnett split the $60.00 pot.
1st place was taken by Chad Null, who fished alone. He won $144.00 with 5 fish total weight 4.928 #’s.
2nd place went to Dave Miller & Glenn Carr with a total weigh of 4.554 #’s and they won $72.00.
Congratulations to all.
Matt Zack retained his Angler of the year status but Chad Null is now in 2nd place.
We all felt bad for the Angler who had his catalytic Converter stolen in broad daylight during the tournament. It is bad enough that we have to put up with poor to non-existent lighting, dangerous ramps and fire ants eat you up when you try to pay your ramp fee.
We really can’t complain about the weather, this is the 1st fourth Saturday that we have had high winds. We are use to it on The Windy Wednesday Nights.
Hope you will all come out and join us in our July Tournament on the 26th. We will fish from 6am to noon to beat the worse heat. Sign up at 5:30. If I am able to fish I will board boat at 5:55 so please plan to get signed up by then. Public is welcome & no limit of times to fish. The entry fee is $25.00 per boat with up to 2 Angler’s. That includes $5.00 in the Big Bass Pot.
