does anybody know what the fish are biting for surf fishing in the galveston area

Need to be more specific. Sharks or Specks or Reds or Spanish mac's . ?????

i'm sorry, i just had to do that. as for bait, try cut mullet,squid, shad or just about anything else. live mullet or srimp for the trout and redfish. silver and gold spoons. whatever flotes your boat. good luck

Where are the fish? I'm wade fishing this weekend have had no luck. I'm staying on Padre Island and would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction? I already fished Packery and Dimmit with no much success. I'm fishing with live shrimp under a popping cork, soft plastics (pumpkin w/char.tail & elect. chicken), a gold spoon(red ripper). PLEASE HELP ! ! !

Well they have had great fishing on the Galveston Fishing Pier . Lots of Spanish Mac's and Specks . Quite a few flounder too, some reds and lots of gafttops and whiting .
