I have not found any sure spots this year. As it is, seems like the bite gets more random as the summer progresses and the spawn is done. You should try whatever spot is easiest and most convenient to you. Get there right before dark and get some chum in the water.
i went camping with my dad at hidden cove a week ago and he went fishing at night and caught 4 catfish i didn't get to see them but he said they were some nice ones. but you'd have to pay to get in.
