Sure would like to know who in Lowrance figured out that Cooper Lake is in EAST Texas and Cedar Creek is in NORTH Texas in order for me to get contours to show up. The new upgrade sucks pond water - very slow when zooming and in much larger increments.

If it ain't broke don't fix it!

GRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr!

just curious what are you talking about. on the lowrance hotspot cards, you dont have select what region when put the card in. the navioncis card you have select what region for the lake you are fishing. thats a navioncis software issue not lowrance. navioncis has a awesome mapping card with a lot of data, yes it may be little slow loading all that great info. but its worth it. remember navioncis is totally different company.

Before I went on line and got the upgrade for my Lowrance 522C, when I would zoom in or out it would do it quickly and in very small increments. Also, both Cooper Lake and Cedar Creek showed contours when I was on them, I didn't have to change sectors or whatever they are called like I do now.

Now, since the upgrade and still using the same Navionics card, suddenly Cooper Lake won't show contours unless I select South East Texas and Cedar Creek won't show contours when I'm in South East Texas - I have to go to North Texas to see CC's contours. Last time I checked the map, CC is South of Cooper. Also, when I now zoom in and out, it's slower and in much larger increments.

It's the same card I was using in the unit before I upgraded the Unit. So if I upgraded the unit does that mean the old Navionics card I am using is the problem and all of this will go away if I get the newest edition? Sounds really hokie to me....

Same thing with my Eagle 500C since I did the online upgrade. Also the zoom is really slow but it does zoom in a lot more than it used to.
