The $2500 scholarship is open to high school seniors through graduate level students. We award it to someone pursuing or interested in pursuing a career related to fishing and hunting. Specifically, we are looking for those pursuing a career as a biologists, game warden, outdoor communicator, with the TPWD or USF&W Service, or other outdoor related careers.

i am a full time police officer and full time college student working towards BS in Criminal Justice so that i can become a game warden.
I plan on sending in a request if you will tell me if i qualify or not on here.

I had a guy come in and apply for a job once who said he would not take the time to fill out the application unless I would tell him he had a shot at the job. I told him if didn't fill it out he was guaranteed not to get the job. So give it a shot you won't have a chance if you don't try.

We raise most of the funds at the Christmas party through raffle tickets and donations.

Not yet. We'll be getting together later this month to pick the winner.
