Just back today from port a..did pretty good caught alot of trout and some big redfish around bird island...just seeing if any one else had any luck

were catchin specs on the north east tip of mudd island, but the dolphins kept stealin them from us...then my post about aransas pass and bird island says it all...fun trip

Fished the Deep Sea Round Up (storms and high seas) caught one sailfish a small dolphin, 5 kingfish, 2 wahoo 17lbs and 64.5lbs.

Yea i was down there it sucked bad this weekend we got caught in some bad weather on friday...and didnt go out on saturday..thats a preaty good wahoo...did u place at all

I could not believe we didn't, most years we would have won. There was a 74 and a 71 caught, we came in 3rd.

We were in the wahoo pot but so were the 2 boats with the other wahoo. I thought we were in for a big payday but it didn't work out.

Where were you fishing at KQT?

I fished mud island (4 poles on NW tip and the shrimp boat) for a whilebefore we got blown away by the storm Sunday night and the only thing I caught was the biggest ladyfish I have ever seen. The rest of the week was about the same, but we stayed north of Allyn's. Seemed like a lot of people got skunked in Aransas Bay. I guess the crappy weather had the fish all messed up. We couldn't even catch anything drifting with a large school of bait with birds working like crazy.
