His job is 40 miles each way and he has decided to downsize to a small pickup truck. He does not want to kill this truck with a ton of miles and knows that it is better to sell then to do that. I believe he is getting a little over 20 mpg hwy with the displacement on demand. City is obviously less but still much better than my truck.

Markk,
I don't know why you can't see them. Try right clicking one of the pictures and then click on properites. Then copy the link to the picture and paste it on your address bar on your browser then hit enter. You should be able to see the picture then go back to this thread and do the same to the other pictures. Hope this helps.

Not trying to start anything. Wondering why someone would put all that money and time into a 2wd making it look like a 4wd? Is this a Southern thing that happens? Thanks!

My little brother was going to lift the 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive either way when he bought it. He had a 4 wheel drive Z-71 for five years before he bought this one and never used it once. Because of his past experience he chose to go with a 2 wheel drive truck and saved money at the purchase and was able to make it look just like he wanted with the money he saved. Some actually use 4 wheel drive, but I would be that more than 75% who buy one never really need it. Most situations that come up in the city a good posi with locking diff. will do more than is needed, which this truck is equiped with.

Is it a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton?

Is the Rancho lift done by GM or is it aftermarket. If aftermarked the warranty is void, and i wouldent be interested. I did see where you said all extras were done at a chevrolet house, however in West Texas dealerships will not do lifts.
