Heading to Freeport for the 4th of July weekend and was wanting to drift rig some spanish mackerel off the Freeport Jetty. Just wondering if anyone has caught any or seen any being caught out there lately. Thanks for the info guys!

They were there about six weeks ago. I caught a few and saw many more landed. I also caught a bunch at SLP the next day. I also will be down all day Friday and Saturday

Wow I wasn't sure if they'd be around even this early. That's good to hear. I plan on being out there for at least four days this week/weekend. If anyone else has a report let me know.

I seen a couple caught during the second week of June while I was out there fishing fro speckle trouts. Water back then was too dirty. Going back out there probably the last week of July or second week of August for kings and spanish.
