Went out to Fayette County on Thursday morning. Got on the water around 5:45 and headed down to Hog Point to fish the reeds and grass. There was another boat already there so I tried to work around them. Caught one on the top with a Pop'R. Then worked around the point and caught two with a SK Red Eye Shad. Moved off the point deep to about 15 feet and caught one with a crankbait, but couldn't get anymore to bite. Moved North from Hog Point staying close to the bank and caught 2 more nice ones with the SK Red Eye Shad. Was about about to head in due to the wind when I noticed the water boiling just North of Buzzard Point. They were schooling in 20-25 feet of water and coming to the surface about every 5 minutes. I followed them around and landed about 5 more. All fish were between 1.5 to 4 pounds. Lost about 5 on the SK including one that had to go at least 7 or 8. Definitely learned my lesson and will replace all of my stock hooks from now on.
