Hit the Surfside Jetty yesterday and the wind was blowing and the seas were rough.
Went down to where the waves weren't breaking too badly. Started throwing live shrimp w/ a cork. Also Carolina rigged live and dead shrimp and used several types of artficials. Caught a lot of fish and variety, but mainly: small silver sand perch, whiting, sand trout, dink specks, bluefish, and small bonnethead sharks. Got a bite almost every cast with the live and dead shrimp. Ended with 2 keeper trout and a couple of nice whiting for the effort.
