My dad and I are going out to Rockport from the 27th of June-2nd of July. And I was wondering if anyone has had any suggestions on what I should be using from fishing off the pier and wading in the flats. Or any other stories to tips that might be useful.

We also will be going on the Offshore Adventures Deep sea boat at the Crabman Marina in Aransas Pass. And would like to hear any information about the deeps sea fishing this year. And we have gone on the boat before and sacked them up, we aren't rookies.

If your fishing off the pier at night ive always had best luck with live shrimp or soft plastics (cocaho minnow)...my buddy was down there last weekend and caught some good trout over by keyalegra

Will do sir. Also if you're looking for a first time deep sea boat, the Adventurer is cheap and i've limited on my fish almost every time!

That sounds cool. I think we are going to be wading mostly, but I'll keep that in mind for another time. BTW nice fish, dgruff.
