He put just the right bait and put it in just the right spot other wise the fish would not have been caught all you did was drive the truck in from the field

Depends what you're catching lol. Does it actually take skill to land the fish? IE, is it a 30lb drag stripping beast on 8lb test? Or is it a 4lb largemouth on 30lb test? Lol.
I'd say who ever did the most difficult job deserves the most credit.

Mind you, what MrJu is not telling you is that the fish was hooked already, he did not have to set the hook at all. In fact, all he did was reel the fish in while I was busy bass fishing, trying to catch something else. Not to mention, I had been getting bites for a while, and I was thinking it was only a matter of time before I got him. MrJu knowing this as well, he wanted to play a game that would get me off of my rod/reel that had been getting good bites. While playing the game, that MrJu wanted to play I was casting for bass...and I noticed the bobber not going up and down but totally Gone and Submerged under water. The fish was hooked and all MrJu had to do was simply reel it in. Everyone knows how hard it is to get Chicken Liver to stay on a hook, while doing a hard cast to the right spot....especially on a $10 childs Wal-Mart rod/reel. Every time I would see MrJu or my nephew throw out Chicken Liver, you would see it go in 3 different directions. Meanwhile, I cast my cheap pole out pretty far with Chicken Liver set on the hook just right where it stays on the hook and goes exactly where I want it to land. This particular Chicken Liver was almost a week old, so it was not fresh anymore at all. These are the facts guys, now you can make a fair analysis/observation and give your honest opinion.

I don't know; I think I gotta give credit to the pink-pole-owning master baiter on this one.

Any "man" that's comfortable with their manhood could not only use a pink pole, but own pink clothes, drive a pink vehicle, etc. I don't care what people think about me, or anything I'm associated with...at the end of the day everyone that knows me know I am a man in every true sense of the word. I'm just sayin'

I've read this entire thread and feel the need to bump it to the top.
We've got to come to a verdict here. I was convinced at first the man who reels it in has the rightful bragging rights. But, baiting with chicken livers or hearts is an aquired skill and said baiter should get credit. We obviously can not go with "shared credit" for the catch because that is simply wrong---It's always been and always will be "One Man, One Catch".
To wiegh the evidence presented I see a three pronged test: 1)Baiting, 2)casting and 3)landing. Jay Heeeez fulfilled 2 of the 3 so he should be entitled to the bragging rights.
Congratulations Jay. Nice fish

Thanks HTownBasstros, I appreciate it. I was going to share credit with me getting atleast 51% credit and give my cousin MrJu 49% but he did not accept that, in fact he told me everything I did(mentioned above) meant absolutely nothing and I shouldn't get anymore than 20% of the credit. So that's why the question was asked here and obviously you good folks here recognize that I not only played a part in it but it was my catch indeed. The people have spoke, and it was "MY" catch.
I would like to thank MrJu, my cousin, for the ride to the pond & for the liver. I would also like to thank my 12yr old nephew, Darius for all of the hating you do that pushes me to be the best fishermen I can be. I also need to thank my parents for creating me, thanks Mom&Dad. Also, thank you to the good TFF members and everyone affiliated with this great website for their support and continued encouragement.
Thanks everyone!!!

man this is too much!!!!!!..hahahahahaha... being that u got out fished at all 3 ponds that day and that fish was really the only one that u even had a possibility of rec'n credit for catching i will let u have it if u r willing to accept a catch that way...hahahaha.. truth of the matter is .. u had been missing that bite all day!!!!!!.. it took me to set the hook at get the fishing... guess that was the reason that u missing 5 more bites after that and tried to blame it on a turtle with the bobber "totally Gone and Submerged under water"!!!! right?!!!!

It is the baiter, poleowner, caster, perfect placement, reel master who coaxed the fish into range. The FOULSTINKER who reeled it in just a LERKING perv ready to pounce on someone elses tackle. What were you doing just prior to reeling in the great fishermens catch?????

Exactly KrappyJig. Definitely my catch. He was over there doing something to his pole, while he knew I had threw my line out and placed it in a perfect spot, all the while casting it with the Chicken Liver staying on, unlike whenever he casts with Chicken Liver. He didn't even notice the bobber had sunk and was totally submerged, until I said something. Of course, since it was my pole, cast, etc...I was obviously paying attention to it. We were playing a game of "his" that consists of having 3 casts in a row trying to catch a fish. I was on my 2nd cast I believe, I had just cast it out there when I noticed the bobber submerged under water. He never gave me a chance to get on it, he immediately grabbed the pole once I spoke up about he bobber gone under water. I did not want to get my line caught up, I never had a chance to reel my pole in. He had already grabbed my pole and was reeling my catch in. The guy really didn't do anything, yet he wants and feels he's owed the credit for my catch. Mind you, this is my cousin(older cousin) who wants to steal the credit of my catch. Bottomline is, it was my catch and the good people of TFF have spoken MrJu. Let this 1 go my man, you lost this battle.

lol man this is great~!!!!!!!!.. lesson learn .. i will never touch his pole again!!!!!.. hahahaha.. the funny thing is .. his bobber had went under 3 times and he missed it ever time so i gave it a try and landed the fish .. then after i landed that fish his bobber went under another 3 times and he still missed it .. based on that info .. if he would have tried it on the one i got he would have missed that as well...hahahahaha
