Does anybody know how far out of the port a jetties the blue water is?

I was out yesterday about the 10 mile marker and it was the clearest green water Iv'e seen out there yet. I would imagine that the blue water would be between 20 and 30 miles out

We did fairly well. We had our limit of kings within about an hour or so. I wanted to find some snapper but was'nt able to get any.

how far did u have to run to get the kings?

We were at the first set of rigs to the right of the packery. I think they are 4-5 miles out. The best luck was trolling with lures.

did yall try ribbon fish...where yall using rustle lures

We had some ribbon fish, but we never used them. I did catch a good one on a live mullet. As for the lures the only one that they were hittin was a fire tiger rapala. I was going to buy another one but I didnt see that color at Academy. I think the only place in Corpus that has them is Roy's. And bps has em too.
