SOTF problem

I have a '98 Acura SLX, which is just a badged isuzu trooper, but when i bought it, the red "Check" light was flashing under the TOD (traction on demand) indicator. That is the shift on the fly 4wd. 4high doesnt work because of this light, and 4 low is a manual shift, so it seems to work fine. My question is, can anyone recomend a place to take it to get looked at? Every shop i go to seems to have never seen one of these before, never heard of TOD, and never worked on 4wd. lots of forums mention checking the SOTF actuator, so i checked the vacume hoses and they both work, maybe the actuator is stuck, I dont no how, nor do i have the tools to check gear lube in the front axel/acutator.
If anyone can recomend a place near 190 and garland rd. (firewheel area) i would appreciate it!
thanks!

sounds good, im in the firewheel area. for all i know, it could be that it just needs some gear lube, but most shops dont seem to know anything about 4 wheel drive. Any help is very appreciated, and like i said, the truck runs fine, its just that flashing light is anoying and it would be nice to have 4 high.
thanks, t
