Took the wife and my best fishin pal out over the weekend.
For once we got on the water early and were at the hole with crickets and meal worms by 6:30. For three hours it was fast and an blast, we put 30+ big blue gills in the basket.
As it got warmer the fishing died down, so we did a little trolling. My buddy got a 22" strip bass going over the humps by the island near the dam.
We spent the afternoon up around Caney creek and picked up a few more bream. All in all not a day I will forget for a while
