10-14 pound Seaguar with a braid knot. If I am cranking mid depth (8-14') heavy cover I'll use 20 pound fluorocarbon.

12 lb Seaguar FC on my cranking stick.
Be aware that FC does stretch, but since it is denser than Mono the sensitivity more than makes up for it.

12lbs BPS fluorocarbon for most crankbaits, and 17lb fluorocarbon for rattle traps.

I boated my personal best (12.97) on fork with 10lb berkley xl, in the trees in penson. The ex-guide I was with just about had a heartattack when I told him I only had 10 lb test. my reels drag and composite cranking rod did the trick.

100% FC / 100% of the time. Just like it and the increased depth and bites. M2C

I will second Jerry! 100% FC, all the time, except for swimbaits and topwater.

I use McCoys Mean Green for crankbaits, with a BPS crankin stick rod. I want the softer tip since the fluoro has no stretch. I tie a palomar knot.

I have been using 12# Vicious fluorocarbon for my cranks. It has been working good for me so far.

On lakes like Fork/Ray Roberts I have used 20 lb. braid for cranks. But most of the time I like 12 lb fluoro.
