Since the summer season I have been catching flounder. Well when I fillet these fish some are infested with small blackish to brown colored worms about 1/8 to 1/4 of in inch long. I saw this two years ago giging flounder. Every flounder we got was infested. What are these worms does anyone know what they could be and are they harmful to humans.

Ive heard just about every fish has worms, there is no avoiding it. Its just some are so small you cant see them and they die when you cook the fish.
But to tell you the trueth if I can see the worms I dont eat it.
