Man, we had a great fish-fry. Had about 28 or so share some good bluegills and company with each other.

Thanks to all for catching the fish and helping get things set up. I don't know about the rest of you but I had a great time.

Thanks to Eric for the hints on the bluegill habits and thanks to waco and Al for all their help and fellowship.

The dining hall was nice and cool and the food was super. Thanks to all who brought something to share and add to the table.

We should have some pictures to share shortly.

Next year will be even better....if that's possible.

Hey y'all, I had a blast again this year. Sorry I come dragging up late - I finally got on some monster bluegills that were biting good and I've always been bad to just have to catch one more.

I left em biting and guess it was a good thing I did because BBrown was pulling the last ones out of the grease when I pulled up. Man those things were delicious. Good Job to the cooks!!!

In hindsight, I wish now that I'd of come in earlier to do more visiting - I felt sorta bad for not doing that and promise to try and do better in that respect next year. (unless there's another real hot bite turns on right about time to be heading in)

Waco Kid please tell your sis thanks again for bringing those tasty deviled eggs - can't eat just one, that's for sure. Thanks to you and Mason for bringing the crickets -that was very nice of y'all to do that.

Oh yes, to whoever turned on the AC thank you! In my haste to get launched, I smooth forgot to do that and sure glad somebody thought to do it. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Saturday May 9th, 2009 is a full moon. I think we wound up on Sundays both this year and last year due to dining hall availability but with this much advance, I bet we could get a Saturday date. We caught a lot of fish down there in april/early may this year. Might get a better turnout on a Saturday too. I'm already wanting to go back. LOL
