There's this new place Shady Oaks Cabins and RV Park www.shadyoakscabins.com 903-389-7128 located just south of Fairfield on Hwy 84, this is about five minutes from the Fairfield Lake.
They have new, very nice, cabins for nightly lease. The cabins have full size appliances, outside grill, and are trimmed out in cedar. Call for pricing but I had a friend stay in one and he said it slept six for about $80 a night. They have two BR one bath or two BR two bath. The sofa also makes a bed.
They also have RV spots, this is another option if the state park is full, as it is on most holidays.
