According to the local newspapers the gulf is calm but the water hasn't quite cleared up yet. I called a baitstore clerk who wasn't sure of the kingfishing reports.
I usually fish 1 to 5 miles out and can sometimes venture out 20 mi.
Any good reports concerning the summer run of kings in close would be helpful. I will call some baitshops again Friday for reports before I hook up the boat and head south.
